To help tell South Dakota Tourism’s monumental love story, we needed animation that was both whimsical and sophisticated. I lent a hand for the intros and outros of both the trailer and full length videos. Additionally, I assisted with the editing, color correcting, color grading, and audio editing.

The Challenge
South Dakota Tourism wanted to drive traffic and build excitement around visiting the state. MMGY identified a unique approach to grab viewers’ attention with a cute, funny, and whimsical story that showcased South Dakota in a fresh and memorable way, highlighting its iconic Mount Rushmore.
The Solution
We created a 3-part Valentine’s Day social campaign of the Mount Rushmore presidents journeying to pursue “monumental love” with the Statue of Liberty. The campaign included 2x teaser trailers with unique footage and intro/outro segments that set the stage for this imaginative storyline. This cohesive and engaging approach brought adventure and fun to South Dakota’s attractions.
